Since our inception in 1998, the QI Group has chosen to advocate for a plant-based diet as our commitment to the environment. All our company events and offices are completely meat-free.

The QI Group was a proud sponsor of the very first Singapore Vegan Festival (SVF) held on September 29, 2019. The aim of the SVF is to spread awareness about the many benefits of a vegan lifestyle.

The SVF was a showcase of the best vegan food around town. The event was initially planned for an audience of 600-800 people, but it eventually catered to a crowd of 1800. Market stalls of vegan products, vegan food & drinks, and Cooking Demos by International Chefs were buzzing with activity as guests took great interest in sampling products and learning more about plant based foods.

The event received excellent positive feedback and it was encouraging to know that there is a growing movement of people embracing sustainable diets.

Geared towards encouraging vegans to explore fresh options and offer interesting alternatives for those who are curious about a vegan lifestyle, the festival embraced people of all food preferences – vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, flexitarians and the vegan-curious. It was a vegan food paradise that opened avenues, offered options and showcased an ethical opportunity without being judgmental.

Held at the Atrium Ballroom of the Raffles City Convention Centre, the event was organised by EatRoamLive, which has been a resource for vegetarians and vegans, aiming to make plant-based food more accessible and more affordable.  The Vegan Fest also included kids’ workshops, cooking demonstrations and sharing sessions by invited speakers on plant-based diet, fitness, health and nutrition.
