Job Summary
  • QI Group is seeking an experienced person (10 – 15 years) to fill the role of Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME)/ Project Manager (PM)
  • SME: To promote Supply Chain best practices to ensure smooth and optimal operations. The candidate shall possess experience with Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS), DoD supply chain management.
  • PM: To be responsible for planning and overseeing projects related to Supply Chain within the organisation, from the initial ideation to completion. They will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
  • To represent supply chain in any ERP integration, retain an understanding of proof of concept for ERP, ability to map processes and systems to cater to operations while aligned with the corporate structure and financial concepts.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Main Job Purpose

Responsible for inception, promotion, and implementation of solutions for business requirements related to Supply Chain Management.

Project manager responsibilities

  • To prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • To act as a liaison between the project team and senior management.
  • Skilled in PM leadership and ERP project integration and expansion

What skills does the project manager need to have?

  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software deployment.
  • Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.

Supply Chain SME responsibilities

  • Design, integrate and implement or develop improvement of Supply Chain modules in ERP system.
  • Champion supply chain end-to-end process in ERP design
  • Lead and work on solutions on sourcing and mapping, project evaluations and recommendations for implementation.
  • Continue to own know-how of business processes and functionalities of systems domain in charge and assist in exploring and studying new technologies and practices.
  • To act as the “go-to” person within a department or function for questions and problems within their area of expertise.

What skills does a Supply Chain SME need to have?

  • Certified ERP from one of the top 3 or similar expertise with a proven track record
  • Technical knowledge with hands-on experience of supply chain nods and links
  • Preferably made 1 or 2 implementation/expansions for a B2C organisations.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain and ERP integration
  • Record of ERP championing from the supply chain in a B2C environment
  • Advanced technical skills in ERP systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, time management, organisational, communication and decision-making, and strong management skills.
  • Presentation skills
  • Proven track record of leading ERP teams to deliver systems
    Fluency in written and spoken English; additional Asian business languages a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of various IT application systems preferable in enterprise solutions, workflow and manufacturing support systems (e.g. ERP)
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, ability to communicate complex technical matters in user language
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, good logical thinking to analyse business user situations and suggest solutions, as well as identifying critical requirements and acting accordingly.
  • Experiences in ERP/Dynamic 365 support & Implementation knowledge in Supply Chain modules.
