Job Summary

  • Group and Entities: Producing accurate monthly financial reports to specific deadlines, preparing and compiling annual budget, variance analysis, tax returns and annual audit compliance.
  • Oversee group of companies’ business operation, system development and business process enhancement.
  • Continuous improvement in business processes and tax efficiencies under multiple tax legislations.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Preparation and review of cashflow projections, monthly/quarterly reports, and drafting of audited financial statements;
  2. Perform monthly financial analysis and review of annual budgets/forecast;
  3. Perform 1st line of support to Procure to Pay platform users;
  4. Review intercompany balances, reconciliation and ensure intercompany debit notes are issued;
  5. Ensure full compliance of SOPs, proper internal control and corporate governance;
  6. Proactively establish business processes enhancements and project management;
  7. Involve in carrying out due diligence process, preparation of cashflow projection in relation to new business deals, expansion and corporate matters;
  8. Review tax computations to ensure full compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations;
  9. Advice on the applicability of withholding tax and Sales and Services Tax (SST);
  10. Monitor tax status, including tax balances of the group and reporting to relevant parties; and
  11. Attend to tax periodic and ad-hoc tasks/projects that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy or Professional Qualification – ACCA, CIMA

 

Requirements:

  • Total years of working experience:   At least 5 years
  • Total years of on the job experience: 4 – 5 years
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations and other relevant systems
  • Independent, self-motivated, resourceful, good communication skills ad interpersonal skills
