Job Summary
Talent Management is integral to the entire Human Resources’ value proposition to the larger organisation.
The role is primarily responsible for providing corporate leadership on group-wide talent management strategy and execution roadmap, including learning & development, succession planning, talent review and assessment, organisation design and structure & etc.
This role must demonstrate enterprise-level competency to strategise the Talent Management initiatives effectively, execute each initiative systematically with speed and quality, and measure the short vs long term impact on the organisation.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Design and implement group-wide talent management initiatives (learning and development solutions, succession planning, talent review and assessment, graduates trainees program, mentoring program, executive coaching, etc.) to increase organisational capability and resiliency in meeting business imperatives.
  2. Serve as a senior business partner to business leaders in human capital management, which involves end to end process of recruitment, development of talent, performance management, succession planning, talent retention, reward and recognition.
  3. Design, develop and conduct leadership development curriculums by customising the contents and methodology to meet the business needs.
  4. Provide timely coaching and guidance to business leaders (or line managers) on the talent review process and methodology, identify the competency gap (functional and leadership) and co-develop an effective individual development plan to bridge the gap.
  5. Provide expert opinion and secretariat support to Group Mentoring Committee to effectively execute the mentoring program and track the program impact.
  6. Provide regular reports and analytics on talent management initiatives to facilitate improvement discussion and decision making.
  7. Develop, maintain and update corporate SOP, policy or guidelines pertaining to Talent Management (Learning and Development, Talent Review Process, Succession Planning, Graduate Trainees Program) promptly, following the compliance needs, industry standards and business requirements.
  8. Assume full responsibility in annual group level Talent Management (inclusive of L&D, Succession Planning, Mentoring, Executive Coaching and etc) budget based on priorities of the business entities and corporate direction.
  9. Provide guidance and support to L&D Manager/Executive to effectively carry out the Annual Training Needs Analysis thoroughly and systematically to gather sufficient information to formulate an annual training plan (functional and leadership skills).
  10. Provide support and guidance to HRBPs, regional HR representatives and all employees pertaining to Talent Management initiatives.
  11. As a senior member of the Corporate HR Leadership team to support other HR leaders in any area deemed relevant and essential to increase HR reputation.

 

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, psychology, business administration or relevant studies; minimum of 15 to 20 years relevant working experience in Talent Management, Organisational Development, Learning & Development capacity is a MUST.  Having exposure to consulting or training service industry is an added advantage.

 

Requirements:

  • Language literacy – excellent in speaking, writing and reading of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer literacy – working knowledge with learning management system platforms, virtual learning tools, Microsoft office tools (word, excel, powerpoint, teams, outlook)
