“I am doing my final walk around the QI Tower today, to say goodbye to those I’ve worked with from the time we operated from a much smaller office before moving here. I remember very clearly seeing the construction progress of the tower every day as I left the old office to go home after work, 10 years ago. Today, I am proud to say that I was a part of the amazing QI Family. If you think about it, where else will an organisation call us, their employees, family!
My favourite thing about QI will surely be the unity in diversity. We have employees from over 30 countries who work together so well as a team and treat each other just like family. It has also been a privilege to have the opportunity to engage with our founders and directors, who are always open to hear from employees and take in our suggestions for the benefit of the group.
Our Executive Chairman, Vijay Eswaran has truly inspired and empowered me in so many ways. Just listening to him will give you the courage to face your problems, see the issues from a different perspective and then the solution will never seem strange to you.
The one advice I’ll like to share with the younger generation will be to always use the ‘ask formula’ — never hesitate to ask if you do not know or are not sure, and learn from there.
Is it tough to walk out and leave today? Of course it is, because QI is family and the QI Tower is home. I will miss my family but there’s so much I will be taking with me as I leave. I know that I will continue to live and spread the message of RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind in every step I talk.”
Brahmam Veerachari, our trusted driver, retired after 13 years with the QI Family and his cheerful personality is already missed by our staff.
