AP Senior Account Executive

Job Summary

  • Support month/year end closing activities to ensure Account payables process are completed within SLAs, in accurate and complete manner
  • Participate in process improvements in account payable teams

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Process all tax invoices, ensure GL code are properly recorded and on timely manner.
  • Review and verify received invoices to ensure appropriate documentation and approval are obtained.
  • Processing staff claims.
  • To research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues (identify, communicate, and facilitate resolution for suppliers).
  • Correspond with internal and external parties and respond to inquiries.
  • Reconcile unapplied pre-payment in supplier account to ensure no long outstanding item.
  • Assist with month end closing and produce monthly reports,i.e. Supplier Reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliations and other ad-hoc reports.
  • To perform bank reconciliation, bank postings, Invoice postings etc.
  • To perform contract reviews.
  • To involve in yearly audit and providing any required information from Internal and External auditors
  • Involved in AP Process Improvement/System Enhancement.


Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification eg ACCA, CIMA


  • Total years of working experience – at least 5 years’ experience
  • Accounting system experience – SAP, Flex & Esker would be an advantage
  • Microsoft Office experience; must have intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good interpersonal, good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in process improvement
