Job Summary

  • Group and Entities: Oversee budget reviews, monthly financial reviews and handling finance projects on business improvement process.
  • Supporting the local finance team in producing accurate monthly financial reports to specific deadlines, preparing and compiling annual budget, variance analysis and annual audit compliance.
  • Oversee group of companies’ business operation, system development and business process enhancement for continuous improvement in business processes

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • To assist in compiling budget numbers from entities in MY.
  • Assisting in preparing monthly financial reviews and providing variance analysis.
  • Ensure that SOP compliance is followed in the accounting transactions and processes.
  • Liaison with Regional Team on any compliance and information required in order to perform any accounting procedure locally.
  • Ensure tax compliance in all entities.
  • Support the local team in problem-solving any financial issues that they encounter regardless of system or processes.
  • Providing business improvement processes for all entities to enhance productivity in the company.
  • Consolidation of entities on a monthly process.
  • Project Manager role in any finance initiatives.
  • Work closely with the business improvement team in any identified project to ensure all finance aspects are covered and matched.
  • Preparation of management report to the Senior Management team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from a recognised university
  • Professional qualification – ACCA, CIMA
  • Accounting Software Certificate
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration and communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Total years of working experience: at least 5 years
  • Total years of in the job experiences: 4 – 5 years
