Job Summary
- Group and Entities: Oversee budget reviews, monthly financial reviews and handling finance projects on business improvement process.
- Supporting the local finance team in producing accurate monthly financial reports to specific deadlines, preparing and compiling annual budget, variance analysis and annual audit compliance.
- Oversee group of companies’ business operation, system development and business process enhancement for continuous improvement in business processes
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- To assist in compiling budget numbers from entities in MY.
- Assisting in preparing monthly financial reviews and providing variance analysis.
- Ensure that SOP compliance is followed in the accounting transactions and processes.
- Liaison with Regional Team on any compliance and information required in order to perform any accounting procedure locally.
- Ensure tax compliance in all entities.
- Support the local team in problem-solving any financial issues that they encounter regardless of system or processes.
- Providing business improvement processes for all entities to enhance productivity in the company.
- Consolidation of entities on a monthly process.
- Project Manager role in any finance initiatives.
- Work closely with the business improvement team in any identified project to ensure all finance aspects are covered and matched.
- Preparation of management report to the Senior Management team.
Qualifications:
- Degree from a recognised university
- Professional qualification – ACCA, CIMA
- Accounting Software Certificate
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration and communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- Total years of working experience: at least 5 years
- Total years of in the job experiences: 4 – 5 years
