Vijayaratnam Foundation

The Malaysian chapter of RYTHM Foundation is called Vijayaratnam Foundation. The Foundation was established by Executive Chairman of the QI Group, Vijay Eswaran, to continue the philanthropic activities started 60 years ago by his late father, Mr. S. Vijayaratnam.

While maintaining close ties with the RYTHM Foundation, Vijayaratnam Foundation works on an independent mission: Empowering Lives, Transforming Communities.

The Foundation has implemented various long-term initiatives in Malaysia in the same areas as RYTHM Foundation, but with specific focus on children and adolescent girls from underprivileged backgrounds.

Among the Foundation’s key projects is Taarana, a centre for children with special educational needs, Footprints, a mentoring programme, Maharani, a series of camps for girls aged 13-16 and Aruna, a youth empowerment seminar series.

Vijayaratnam Foundation is focussed on building human capital and is committed to the social empowerment of individuals, to help them raise themselves and contribute to their families, communities and society.
