A study by McKinsey found that the average life span of companies listed in Standard & Poor’s 500 was 61 years in 1958. Today, it is less than 18 years. The study believes that, in 2027, 75% of the companies currently quoted on the S&P 500 will have disappeared. They will be bought out, merged, or will go bankrupt.

The business world has changed dramatically over the past few decades, and we now live in a connected society where change can be fast-paced, constant and unpredictable. In this uncertain and constantly changing world, we are grateful for things that remain steadfast.

At the QI Group, we just celebrated our 24th anniversary, and the running theme through all our global celebrations is one of gratitude. In a virtual global townhall, our Founders Vijay Eswaran and Joseph Bismark expressed their appreciation and gratitude for all the people who have contributed to our constant growth. And all the challenges that helped build their resilience!

The virtual event also honoured more than 80 employees from around the world who are marking their milestone anniversaries with us. 47 employees completed 5 years this year, 19 completed 10 years, 10 completed 15 years, and 5 marked their 20thanniversary with the Group. A remarkable achievement for a company that began with a handful of people who had not much more than a dream and a vision to build a business that would become a force for good.

As we get ready to mark our milestone silver anniversary next year, we are excited about the future.

Here’s a glimpse into our global celebration!
