When our Founders started the QI Group back in 1998, the core philosophy of RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind – was the backbone on which the company was built. It was a direct commitment to build the business while making a difference by giving back to those in need.

One of the most impactful missions we could do was to get involved in the communities in which we operate through our extensive employee volunteering initiative. We implemented a group-wide policy encouraging employees to dedicate at least 16 hours yearly to their local communities.

Our efforts were recognised at the recent HR Excellence Awards 2023 in Malaysia, where the Group took the Excellence in Employee Volunteerism bronze award. This award recognises organisations that have implemented effective strategies to encourage and support employee volunteerism, resulting in positive outcomes for the organisation and its community.

Our numbers speak for themselves, with employees raking up over 100,000 volunteering hours for over 550 community initiatives in more than ten countries, over the last 10 years.

We have demonstrated our commitment to social impact and employee empowerment and will continue implementing initiatives prioritising volunteerism and community engagement.

The Annual HR Excellence Awards, in its 11th edition, is the premier event recognising outstanding achievement and innovation in the field of human resources management in Malaysia. This year’s edition showcased the most influential HR strategies, policies and initiatives that have significantly improved employee engagement, organisational performance, and overall business success.
