Tun Arifin Zakaria, the former Chief Justice of Malaysia from 2011 to 2017 has been appointed as Chancellor of QI Group’s education venture, the Quest International University (QIU) in Perak, Malaysia with effect from 1 September 2021. Tun Arifin is currently also the Group Chairman of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) in Malaysia and holds Board membership roles in several public as well as private companies.

Under his guidance and leadership QIU aims to elevate the university’s status as a centre of educational excellence for both Malaysia and international students.
