Nearly 2.4 billion women globally don’t have the same economic rights as men. This World Bank data reflects how far we have come as a society and yet, how hard we have to fight to #EmbraceEquity globally.
World Bank’s Women, Business and the Law 2022 report states that around 2.4 billion women of working age are not afforded equal economic opportunity, and 178 countries maintain legal barriers that prevent their full economic participation. In 86 countries, women face some form of job restriction, and 95 countries do not guarantee equal pay for equal work.

We marked the 2023 International Women’s Day with significant events across our various global offices. From fund-raising bazaar events to health and fitness classes, and craftwork to charitable acts of kindness, our employees displayed the spirit of RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind.
The celebration culminated in a panel discussion organised by our social impact arm RYTHM Foundation and their partners Dr. Madhavi Panda, Founder & Director of Parinaama Development Foundation in India, and Amara Wichithong, a former Olympian and master trainer with ASA Foundation in Thailand.
The discussion centred on empowering women, embracing equity, providing everyone the same opportunities and enabling women to make informed choices. As the panellists pointed out – Each of us has the ability to reach our fullest potential. Women have rewritten history simply because they believed in themselves.
