The Malaysian National Press Club organised their popular inter-media bowling tournament once again after a long break due to the pandemic. And the QI Group was delighted to be a part of this fun event as the title sponsor.

Called the QI Inter-media bowling tournament 2022, the event was a highly charged competition with 72 bowlers vying for the coveted QI Challenge Trophy.

As part of our community engagement initiatives, the QI Group aims to nurture working relationships and bring together communities from diverse backgrounds through a common ground – sports. The tournament was a roaring success, as people enjoyed being back together again after a two-year hiatus.

The QI Group sent two flights to participate in the sponsors’ category, consisting of employees from the Malaysian office. One of the QI employee teams bagged the third place, a commendable effort considering it was the first time they had played together as a team!

The sponsorship funds raised from the tournament will go towards the welfare of media members from the Malaysian National Press Club.
