A prominent event in the QI Group’s event calendar each year is a very special performance by the kids of the Taarana school for children with special needs. The school, established by the RYTHM Foundation, has been a blessing to many families in Malaysia who have children with developmental delays and children on the autism spectrum.

Due to the pandemic, the annual concert by the kids could not take place for the last three years. That made this year’s concert even more special as family members, and employees of the QI Group packed the auditorium to watch the children in action. And they did not disappoint!

The children showcased their abilities with a skit, song, and dance. The audience watched in awe as they took to the stage and confidently showcased their talent. Many family members got emotional as they witnessed the performances. Parents and family members proudly shared testimonies of the progress achieved by the kids since they joined Taarana and expressed their gratitude to the school, the teachers, and the principal.

RYTHM Foundation, the social impact initiative of the QI Group, strongly advocates for an inclusive educational environment that provides every child equal access and opportunity to knowledge and learning to unlock their potential. Taarana School, established in Malaysia by the Foundation in 2011, delivers holistic special needs education, nurtures children while enhancing their learning process, and provides support and resources to the children’s families and caregivers while championing the rights of children with special learning needs.
