We are thrilled to announce that QI Philippines has been honoured with the Excellence in Employee Volunteerism Award at the HR Excellence Awards Philippines 2024. This prestigious recognition celebrates organisations that have successfully implemented strategies to encourage and support employee volunteerism, resulting in positive outcomes for the company and its community.
At the heart of our success is the Employee Community Impact (ECI) initiative, inspired by RYTHM Foundation’s ethos of “Raise Yourself To Help Mankind.” Through ECI, our employees dedicate a minimum of 16 hours per person annually to causes that benefit local communities, aligning with several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These include Education for All (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Reducing Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
QI Philippines has implemented several programmes that exemplify our commitment to social impact and employee empowerment:
Every Blood Qounts: A quarterly blood donation drive in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross, benefiting the Kasuso Foundation. This initiative aims to save lives and make a meaningful impact within the local community.
PanaAll Archery CliniQ: An opportunity for teenagers in barangays to experience archery in a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering learning, fun, and community bonding.
Breast Cancer Awareness Seminars: Informative and empowering events that raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and support affected individuals and families.
Coastal Qleanup: A long-term activity dedicated to protecting and preserving coastal ecosystems by removing litter and debris from beaches, shorelines, and waterways.
