Quest International University (QIU), the education arm of the QI Group, held its sixth convocation ceremony for over 750 graduands in Perak, Malaysia. It was the first convocation ceremony held after a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic. 

In its 11th year of serving the country as an educational institution, QIU has produced more than 2000 graduates from 39 countries on five continents in over 40 programmes.

As a comprehensive, research-led private university, QIU offers various foundation, degree and postgraduate courses in fields including, among others, Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, Business Management, Actuarial Sciences, Culinary Arts, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Technology, Hotel Management, Information Technology, Accountancy, Psychology, Mass Communication, Corporate Communications, Teaching English as a Second Language, Early Childhood Education, Computer Science, Finance, Hospitality Management, Mechatronics Engineering, Biotechnology, Special Needs Education, Information Technology.

The convocation, held over the weekend of Aug 13 and 14, 2022 also included a separate event for graduates who were unable to have a convocation last year due to the pandemic. This included two young graduates from the School of Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences who are now employees of the QI Group in Malaysia, working in the PR and Communications department. 

Dato Sri Vijay Eswaran, who is also the Chairman of the University Council presided over the convocation for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. In his Commencement Address, Dato’ Sri Vijay reminded the young graduates that the choices they make define the path of their lives.
