The QI Group is driven by a unique corporate philosophy called RYTHM – Raise Yourself To Help Mankind. Guided by this mission of serving the communities in which we operate, we have been propelled to carry out CSR initiatives in various parts of the world, including countries like Singapore. In Singapore, we have collaborated with many non-profit and voluntary organisations to conduct programmes that have benefitted various sectors of society.

Our contributions have gained us worldwide recognition and recently also membership into Singapore Compact, an organisation that seeks to advance CSR efforts in Singapore. We are proud to announce that we have been accepted as a Gold Member, along with other renowned multinationals like BP Singapore, KPMG, City Developments Ltd. and Standard Charted Bank.
As a Gold Member, the QI Group will be prominently displayed on the Singapore Compact website and will receive accreditation for all projects carried out under its CSR arm, RYTHM Foundation.

Singapore Compact is a government-affiliated organisation, and encourages collaboration between the public, private and non-profit sectors in developing coordinated and effective CSR strategies. Each year, it organises the Singapore Compact CSR Awards, which aims to recognise corporations with successful CSR practices. The annual ceremony sees Heads and CEOs of major organisations converge to discuss key issues related to CSR and best practices that can advance sustainability for the greater good.

In addition, it is also the local focal point for the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a worldwide policy initiative for businesses that are committed to bettering the world through their CSR efforts. Under the UNGC, corporations are required to align their CSR operations and strategies with universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

With over 8700 corporate participants and other stakeholders from over 130 countries, it is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world. Through forums, seminars, training workshops and roundtable discussions, Singapore Compact provides a platform for corporations and stakeholders to collaborate and share information.

Through membership into Singapore Compact, the QI Group looks forward to broadening its base for collaboration with other stakeholders who share a similar purpose, while seeking new ways to enhance its long-term strategies in the area of CSR.
