RYTHM Foundation, the social impact arm of the QI Group, has long championed learning that meets each child where they are. Under its care, Taarana School welcomes children with unique abilities into a community that nurtures confidence and independence. During its recent Annual Day 2025, the school celebrated student growth and the strength of its community.
Datin Seri Umayal Eswaran, Chairperson of RYTHM Foundation, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to building confidence and opportunity for every child’s unique abilities.
Zero Waste Project
The event also introduced “The Magic of Recycling,” an interactive workbook by teacher Joanne Matilda John that makes sustainability education accessible to both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. A teacher performance brought the theme to life with props made entirely from recycled materials. It tied back to the school’s Zero Waste Project, launched in 2024, and showed how sustainability is woven into everyday learning.
A Day of Performances and Pride
On the day, students filled the stage with heartwarming performances that showed how far they have come. Group and individual presentations highlighted growing confidence and new skills, reflecting steady progress across the school year. Families cheered, and teachers and therapists supported from behind the scenes, underscoring the shared effort that helps every student thrive.
Empowering the Future, One Student at a Time
In 2026, Taarana plans to extend the reach of The Magic of Recycling through partnerships with local environmental NGOs. This work will strengthen the link between inclusive education and real-world learning.
Through Taarana, the QI Group continues to put its philosophy of Raise Yourself to Help Mankind (RYTHM) into action. We nurture confidence, independence, and opportunity for children with unique abilities, empowering them to discover their full potential.
