Quest International University (QIU), the education arm of the QI Group, recently held its 9th Convocation to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025. The ceremony marked another proud milestone in the university’s journey to nurture future-ready leaders guided by values, vision, and purpose.
The ceremony was officiated by QIU Council Chairman and Pro Chancellor Dato’ Sri Dr Vijay Eswaran and Chancellor Tun Arifin Zakaria, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning.
Inspiring Lessons from Dato’ Sri Vijay Eswaran
In his heartfelt commencement address, Dato’ Sri congratulated the Class of 2025 and encouraged them to face FOFO, the Fear of Finding Out. “It is always better to know,” he reminded them. “Learn to navigate it, adapt, adjust, and accommodate.” He urged graduates to stay grounded in their family, culture, and values as the compass for meaningful success.
He also shared four guiding principles for life beyond university: first, Conform, then Transform, push for Reform, and always Perform. His words resonated deeply, inspiring graduates to move forward with courage, curiosity, and compassion.

Valedictorian Honoured for Excellence and Leadership
Esther Chong Thim Sum (Bachelor of Early Childhood Education) received the Dato’ Sri Dr Vijay Eswaran Award for exemplifying academic excellence, leadership, and community spirit. Completing her degree in two years through the APEL-C pathway, she played an active role on the Student Representative Council, represented QIU in the MASISWA North Zone badminton games, and now leads as the principal of an international preschool. Her story embodies QIU’s conviction that true achievement is a combination of intellect, service, and heart.

Graduates from the Faculties of Business and Management, Computing and Engineering, Integrated Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Social Sciences crossed the stage, representing QIU’s strength as a multidisciplinary institution that prepares graduates for real-world success and social impact.
